An apology after death...

Papa-Dimitris Gagastathis: She "cursed me with both her hands..."

"I was coming down from Saint Nicholas and met an Old Calendarist woman and greeted her. But she not only didn’t greet me, she turned around and cursed me with both her hands…

"After some time, she passed away, and she would come into my sleep every night in a wretched state, like a beggar, and would trouble me and ask for something.

"I went to Trikala, to the Metropolis, and reported it. I asked the Bishop what I should do, and he told me: go at night, since during the day her children won’t allow it, and perform a Trisagion at her grave so that her soul may be forgiven. After I performed the Trisagion, she no longer troubled me."
