From “The Life and Works of Our Holy Father Archimandrite Justin of Chelije,” by Riassaphore-monk Adrian, published in The Orthodox Word, Vol. 43, No. 5, September–October 2007.
A young Anglican monk who became
a close acquaintance of his [while attending Oxford], observing his unceasing
prayer and abundant tears, sincerely admitted one day, “I only now

what we understand in the West and how we’ve been taught. Now I see that we in
the West don’t know what repentance is.”
